Fat Chick Fashion: An introduction

You may be asking yourself, "Who is this Wendy Withers, and how is she qualified to write a blog about fashion?"

Well, the short answer is I'm a finicky fat chick with good taste.

And, the long answer really isn't that long.

I'm your ordinary bookish writer. I have a weird sense of humor, a love of the macabre, and a passion for the arts.



I'm a freelance writer living in Tampa, FL. Through the years, I have acted in numerous theatre productions, have been in a couple indie films, have modeled for a few artists, and have been published in a number of print and online publications, from Mookychick to The Tampa Tribune.

I hope we get to know each other better as time passes. I'm looking forward to writing this blog.

After working as a plus sized model and professional writer, I've finally decided to start my own fashion blog specifically for all of the beautiful plus-sized women out there who need a little extra help when it comes to fashion.

For as long as I can remember, I've been disgusted. Not with myself, but with the fashion industry and the lack of stunning clothing for bigger girls. Now, I feel I can use this space to keep other women from having the same problems and hope this will soon become an indispensable resource for the fashion forward looking for bigger sizes.
